ABOUT JACK
Jack Carter began his craft in the UK where he was trained in the Roman city of Bath, at Bath City College while serving his Apprenticeship. During this time, he worked on Salisbury Cathedral, Winchester Great Hall, Saint Albons Gate in London, and a multitude of ecclesiastical and historical buildings. He has over 27 years of experience as a master stone carver and sculptor. He was invited to come to the US in 2005 to work for a carving studio in the San Francisco Bay Area.
With the creation of JJC Studio, Jack has been continuing to hone his trade and teach while serving the architectural and design community.
JJC Studio has an expertise in classical stone work as well as a passion for unique and quirky projects that push the boundaries of design and art.
Jack has completed projects across the US and internationally. Previous projects include cathedrals, churches, historic buildings, and numerous luxury homes in London, Sydney, Oxford, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Seattle.
